The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Agriculture Minister, FAO official discuss supporting Yemen to fight locusts

Yemen’s Agriculture Minister Othman Mujalli discussed here on Sunday with the Director of Emergencies at the Director of Emergencies at the UN Food and Agricultural Organization Dominique Burgeon ways of cooperating to fight locusts in Yemen and the overall cooperation with the organization.
Mujalli appreciated the FAO’s history of support to Yemen, requiring an assistance to fight the swarms of locusts that now threaten agriculture in the country.
The FAO’s official affirmed on his part the commitment of the FAO to support Yemen in the face of the grasshopper invasion that has come from Africa.
