The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

The designated Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik stated that the government will save no efforts to get all abductees and detainees who are held in the Houthi militia's jails released and ensure their return to their families.
Ma'een's statement came following releasing the first group of the detainees under the prisoner exchange deal between the government and the Iran-backed militia (Houthi).
