'MASAM' removes 1857 landmines, UXOs in a week

RIYADH - SABA
KSrelief Center Demining Project in Yemen (MASAM) managed to pull out 1,857 of landmines and unexploded ordinance (UXO) in the first week of October 2020.
MASAM reported that 417 anti-tanks landmines, 1,439 UXOS and one anti-personnel landmine were removed.
The total number of landmines removed by MASAM up-to-date is 191,054. These landmines were planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different areas of Yemen.
