Health Minister calls on the WHO, UNICEF to establish offices in Marib

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser Ba-aum called on the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN organization for Children (UNICEF) to establish offices in the governorate of Marib to offer their services and carry out their interventions where millions of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) are in dire need.
Ba-aum launched his appeal as he chaired a joint meeting of the senior officials charged of health in Marib governorate and the representatives of national, regional and international organizations operate in health sector.
The Minister highlighted the need for greater efforts and interventions by the WHO and the UNICEF to help millions of the IDPs who gathered in Marib from different parts of Yemen as a result of Houthi militia's war and atrocities
