U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

VP, Djibouti ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh met the Djibouti ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dhiyaa Addeen Saeed Bamakhramah and discussed with him the bilateral relations between Yemen and Djibouti.
The Vice President praised the level of relationships and the Djibouti role in supporting Yemen in the difficult circumstances Yemen is suffering as a result of the Houthi coup d’état.
The Djibouti ambassador renewed his country’s support for achieving peace and security in Yemen.
