Military court sentences forcible arrest of Houthi leaders, seizing their funds

The Military Court in Marib has sentenced arrest of 175 of Houthi militia's leaders inside and outside Yemen and authorized security forces and I Interpol to implement the sentence in accordance with the applied measures.

In its public sitting held on Tuesday, the court also formally decided seizure of possessions of the accused in accordance with penalty law.

The court was held under the presidency of Judge Aqil Tajuddin the Head of the Military Court and attended by General Prosecutor Abdullah al-Hadheri, defense of the accused, the relatives of the victims and their defense.

Earlier, the prosecutor demanded seizure of the accused's possessions and seizure of Houthi movement's possessions inside and outside the country.
