Improving health services in Taiz discussed

Taiz Local Authority and the Board of the al-Thawra Public Hospital discussed Monday the situation of health services provided to citizens and plans for activating a number of sections and clinics.

Headed by Abdulqawai al-Mikhlafi, the meeting reviewed obstacles faced by the hospital and its needs of specialized health cadre and medical supplies and equipment.

Al-Mikhlafi stressed necessity of utilizing all capabilities and coordinating with international organizations for supporting the hospital to be able to receive all cases, especially injured of the national army.

He praised the great role of King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center in supporting and curing injured people, supporting Artificial Limbs Center and providing health sector with a number of medical appliances.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of al-Thawra Hospital Abdurrahim al- Sami' reviewed the work strategy of the hospital for the forthcoming period and activating its role for providing more health services.
