Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajjash met the South Korean ambassador to Yemen here on Thursday and discussed with him a number of cooperation issues between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them.
Discussions touched on developments in the local arena, including the continued Houthi military escalation and indiscriminate bombardment of cities, which has led to the death of many civilians and exacerbated the humanitarian situation, especially in Ma'rib governorate.
Bajjash praised Korea's firm support to Yemen’s legitimate government and the efforts of the peace process in Yemen, appreciating Korea's various contributions in the humanitarian and relief field provided to Yemen during this stage.
For his part, the Korean ambassador affirmed his country's support to Yemen and the efforts that may lead to peace.
