RIYADH-SABA
Yemen has said the UN Security Council's rejection of a proposal on Friday to extend the weapons embargo on Iran is "disappointing to the Yemeni people and people of the region who had bitterly suffered at the hands of the Iranian regime. "
Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani said in a statement to Saba the Iranian regime is "behind the violence and anarchy in the region, the creation of sectarian militias in the Arab region, the export of terrorism and threatening of international interests."
"Yemen has paid a prohibitively high price due to the Iranian provision of of Houthis with military experts and technology in manufacturing landmines, IEDs, drones, ballistic missiles, and drones."
