Prime Minister, Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik, directed the competent authorities and the local authority in Hodeidah to provide all the necessary support and relief assistance to those affected by the torrential rains that recently swept the governorate, and caused great human and material damage.
The Prime Minister affirmed during a phone call with the Governor of Hodeidah, Dr. Al-Hassan Taher, today that international and humanitarian organizations should speed up the provision of relief aid and shelter materials to the affected families, and coordinate with the competent government agencies to deliver them, especially in the areas under the control of Houthi militia.
The premier directed the national Supreme Committee for Relief Aid and the Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons' Camps to activate coordination with UN and international organizations to assign relief and shelter assistance to the affected.
