Yemen, Germany discuss peace efforts

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed with German Ambassador to Yemen Carolla Muller through telephone call Monday latest developments of peace efforts and Germany's great role for reaching a solution to Yemen's crisis.

Al-Hadhrami confirmed government's keenness on making UN efforts for reaching to sustainable and inclusive solution on the bases of the three references successful.

He praised Germany's great support to Yemen during its presidency to Security Council this month and its response to Yemen government's call for holding special session on Safir Oil Tanker.

He also confirmed significance of continuous pressure on Houthi militia for honoring its pledge and allow to UN technical team to make maintenance work to the tanker and drain it from oil.

For her part, the German diplomat expressed her country's to efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen for solving Yemen's crisis and reaching to political settlement.
