Yemen's Ministry of Public Health and Population is preparing to implement a massive vaccination campaign against diphtheria, with the support of the World Health Organization and UNICEF, from July 4 to 9.
The Deputy Health Minister for Primary Healthcare sector, Dr. Ali Al-Waleedi, told Saba that the campaign will be implemented in 57 districts in Aden, Lahj, Al-Dhali ', Al-Mahara and Taiz governorates.
The campaign which targets more than 540 million children from six weeks to the age of fifteen involves 4,324 health personnel.
