Japan has signed a $1.9 million grant agreement with the World Food Programme (WFP) to strengthen food security in Yemen, with the funding expected to provide emergency food assistance to nearly 700,000 vulnerable people across the country.

Houthi militia creates fuels crisis to gain politically, says minister

Minister of Information Muammer al-Iryani warned of the serious impacts of Houthi militia's reckless policy that deliberately intended to create fuels crisis.

" Such irresponsible practices will have devastating impacts upon the populations living conditions", he said.

In a press statement al-Iryani added" What Iran's mercenaries (Houthi militia) are doing with creating fuels crisis has been intentionally designed to exercise blackmail against the International Community (IC) to achieve some political gains, pillage the unfortunate fellows in the militia-controlled regions and flourish the black market the militia runs fund its subversive operations and war on the Yemeni".
