An authorized government source repudiated the circulated reports regarding the issuance of government directives to close Aden International Airport to air traffic, affirming that the government has not issued any directives to close the airport, nor there is any such decision issued by the leadership of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy.

Baom: President directs paying YR one million to families of corona-dead

Minister of Public Health and Population Nasser Baom announced that President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has directed paying YR one million to every family of people from health cadre died over corona pandemic.

Baom congratulated doctors on their international day marking 25 of June, pointing out that this occasion comes while Yemeni doctors face a new chapter of sacrifice for rescuing their own people from corona pandemic.

" The government highly appreciates all exceptional efforts are being exerted by affiliates of health sector across Yemen," he said.

Yemen's doctors are considered the second defense after Almighty God on protecting people in their different ages and categories against pandemic and diseases, he added.

He thanked everyone contributed in alleviating pains and protecting people's lives and thanked the Regional Director of World Health Organization for the Middle East Ahmad al-Manzari for his great concern and his excellent position on Yemeni doctor's day.
