PM praises Egyptian supportive stance in support of Yemen

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik highly extoled the leading role of the Arab Republic of Egypt in support of Yemen and the Yemeni people in different stages.

As he held a telephone conversation Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Mostafa Madboul, Ma'een expressed the Yemeni government's thanks and gratitude to the Egyptian government and people for Egypt's constant support for the legitimate Yemeni government and people.

The phone conversations dealt with the Yemeni-Egyptian historic relationship and a range of Arab and regional issues of common interests.

Ma'een briefed Madbouly on the latest developments in Yemen including Houthi militia's military escalation and rejection to all peace proposals.

Yemeni-Egyptian cooperation to secure the navigation marine lines in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait was elaborately discussed.

The Egyptian Prime Minister reiterated his country's support for the Yemeni legitimate government and the efforts to re-establish security, stability and maintain Yemen's unity and territorial integrity.
