The Republic of Yemen has welcomed the initiative announced by Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi for reaching to inclusive political settlement in Libya in accordance with the United Nations' resolutions and on the basis of Libyan sovereignty, unity and security.

In a release by ministry of foreign affairs of Yemen, the ministry praised efforts of Egypt, confirming support of the Republic of Yemen to brothers in Libya for reaching to inclusive solution to the Libyan crisis under the United Nations and international legitimacy.
