Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajjash, discussed with the Russia Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Didushkin, ways of strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
Bajjash appreciated Russia’s constructive stance, its support for the Yemeni government, and its involvement in efforts to achieve peace in Yemen, noting the depth of Yemeni-Russian relations.
For his part, the Russian ambassador renewed his country's support for the unity, security and stability of Yemen and for the legitimate government represented by His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
He affirmed his country's desire to help find a solution to the Yemeni crisis and support the efforts of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy in Yemen.
