A preliminary session held Monday in Taiz aimed to explore practical preventive measures to control the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic in the governorate.

Deputy Governor, deputy Chair of the Emergency Committee tasked with Coronavirus Dr. Iylan Abdulhaq reported about what have been taken and the challenges need to be addressed to so that the Emergency Committee can do its job effectively.

Health senior officials in charge provided details reports about preventive, medication and precautionary measures have been taken to stem the spread of the pandemic in the governorate.

The Governor Nabil Shamsan stated that the local authority will do utmost efforts to mobilize and devote all available resources to counter the pandemic.
