MARIB - SABA
The governor of Yemen's Marib allocated YR 150 million (roughly USD 250 k) to the families that lost members or got them injured in Wednesday's storm and torrential rains in the city.
Marib in Yemen's east is known as "the city of refugees" given the large numbers of internal displacees forced out from different parts of Yemen by the Houthi rebel militia.
The floods in the evening killed five people and injured several others. Governor al-Eradah visited the IDP camp the next morning and ordered financial assistance and food, medical and shelter aid.
