Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi

The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

The governors and local authorities of different Yemeni provinces are preparing and discussing preparations for coronavirus, the pandemic hitting a number of world countries.

The governor of the eastern Yemen province of Hadhramout discussed with the country's Deputy Health Minister the ongoing local preparations in case the virus infections emerge.

The governor of Lahj province in south Yemen discussed with the another Deputy Health Minister the inauguration of a super healthcare center in the hospital of Ibn Khaldoon in the provincial capital.

In a meeting with mosque preachers, the Deputy Governor of Shabwah stressed the imperative of the role the preachers can play in raising the public awareness about the virus and means of preventing its hazard.
