Yemen Government Condemns Houthi Attack on UN Offices, Humanitarian Work

Al-Brakani to Hadi: Parliament's sessions need to be held in Aden, Marib sooner not later

RIYADH-SABA
Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Brakani reported Wednseday to the President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi about the outcomes of his communications, consultations and deliberations he conducted with the members of the Parliament recently about the ongoing developments in the national scene.

Al-Brakani's report included a number of recommendations the President needs to act on to bring the country back to the right path. Most important of all are the following:

1-The President's efforts to put Riyadh Agreement into effect need to be doubled so that the President of the Republic, Parliament, Government and other instutions can return to Aden to do their job effectively.

2-It is very important for the Vice President, Minister of Defense, Chief of Staff and senior military and security commanders to return to Marib as soon as possible to lead the combat operations to defend the Revolution, Republic, democacy and the federal Yemen.

3-Arrangements must be made to get the Parliament resume its session as quickly as possible in the interim capital Aden or Marib or any other governorate.

4- Consultations and coordination with brothers in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition about the necessary steps need to be taken the Stockhom Agreement in order to stop the militia's irresponsible actions and hold it accountable for the failure of the agreement.

5-The government must be givent urgent instructions to double down the efforts to protect the people from Coronavirus.

6-Judicial authorities should take legal measures against the Houthi militia's leadership who must be brought to justice to be held accountable for their crimes they have committed and continued to do so, including the military coup against the legitmate authority, triggering a war on the Yemeni people, killings, kidnapping... e,t.c.
