Sanitation project worth USD 7.5 million will be implemented in Ataq

The treaty of the first phase of Ataq Water and Sanitation Project with the cost of USD 7.5 million signed Sunday.

Attended by Governor of Shabwa Mohammad bin Adyo, the treaty signed by Director of Water and Sanitation Corporation in Shabwa Abdullah bin al-Amya' and Director of the Company to carry out the project Ali bin Sulaiman.

The treaty stressed significant of committing to engineering designs included in the general diagram to the water and sanitation network and its prime and branch lines and establishing a central processing unit.

Governor bin Adyo confirmed significance of the project to help the people get rid of digging halls at public streets for burying their wastes and get rid of environmental pollution.

He directed that the project should include 21 units of neighboring units in Attaq city and to be wide to cover urban constructional expansion in the city.
