The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia renewed its support for the security and stability of Yemen, and the support of a political solution based on the outcomes of the national dialogue, the Gulf initiative and its implementation mechanisms, and Security Council Resolution 2216.
The support was expressed by the Saudi Minister of State for African Countries, Ahmed Kattan.
Qattan stressed the Kingdom’s interest and concern for the unity, sovereignty and integrity of Arab lands, and that it does not accept any prejudice that threatens the security and stability of the region.
The Saudi minister pointed out that the Kingdom is doing everything in its power to support the security and stability of Yemen, and to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, pointing out that the Kingdom has provided approximately 7.14 billion dollars to help Yemen since the beginning of the crisis to raise their human morale
