U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Yemen calls on the US Congress to support two draft bills against Houthis' crimes

WASHINGTON-SABA
The Yemeni Parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Speaker Abdulaziz Jubari called on the US Congressionals to support two draft bills proposed by the two Congressmen Will Hurd and Senator Tom Cotton.

The two bills condemn the Iran-allied Houthi militia for the grave violations of human rights and violence the militiamen committed against the civilians in Yemen.

The Yemeni Parliamentary delegation separately met with the Republican Senator Teid Young and the Congress member Ronald Wright.

In the two sessions the parliamentary delegation cited the crimes and violations by the Houthi rebels including planting as many as one million landmines, recruiting children and looting relief and humanitarian aids.

The Parliamentary delegation includes Sultan al-Atwani, Abdulsalam Adhbali, Qasim al-Kasadi and Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Qader.
Yemen's Ambassador to Washington Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak was in presence.
