The field teams of the “MASAM” project for mine removal in Yemen has extracted 3,765 mines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices from the beginning of November until the 21st of the month.

CARE's educational services to Aden's institutes discussed

Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Abd-Rabbu al-Mahwali discussed Sunday with representatives of CARE International Yousra Nasher and Abdulhakim Shamsan cooperation for carrying out improvement projects to Aden's technical and vocational institutes.

The meeting discussed the most important projects under implementation; carrying out maintenance work for technical and commercial institute and the industrial institute in Khour Maksar District and the industrial institute in al-Mansoura District to be finished at the end of this February.

Al-Mahwali praised the role of the organization in carrying out maintenance work to a number of technical and vocational institutes in Aden, which are considered of the oldest institutes in Yemen and the Arab Gulf, and implementing training and improvement programs to keep pace with needs of labour markets.

He confirmed that the ministry provides necessary support to facilitate implementation of the organization's projects.

Nasher reviewed the most important projects for improving education in technical and vocational institutes and means of implementing a training program to 60 trainers in fields of marketing, exporting, networks, cars electricity and mechanic.
