MASAM removes 1,187 landmines during January 39;s second week

King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities 39; Demining Program in Yemen or
quot;MASAM" has removed 1,187 mines during the second week of this January 2020 planted by
Iran-backed Houthi militia.

The center made it clear in a release that the project removed 17 anti-person landmines,
367 anti-tanks, 786 non-exploded shells and 17 explosives, pointing out that the program
has removed 123 thousand mines since the beginning of its activities planted by Houthi
militia in farms, schools and Houses in Yemen.

The landmines have been hidden by fake shapes and killed and injured big number of
children, women and aged people.
