Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Almysari met here with Governor of Socotra archipelagos governorate Ramzi Mahrood.

They discussed the situations in Socotra and the local authority's efforts to cope with the consequences of the tropical storms and heavy floods which swept the island recently.

Mahroos reported to Almysari about the challenges facing the local authority and most pressing needs and priorities must be addressed urgently.

Almysari praised the local authority's efforts and the military and security units stationed in the archipelagos.
