Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hussein Basalamah, expressed Yemen's desire to sign a cultural agreement with Jordan to include - besides the exchange of scholarships - the exchange of expertise between universities in both countries.
He indicated the intent during a meeting with his Jordanian counterpart, Dr. Mohiuddin Touq, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, today to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of higher education and discuss the possibility of signing a cultural cooperation agreement between the two countries.
He praised the level of relationship and cooperation between the two countries, appreciating the Kingdom's permanent stand by Yemen's side in all fields, including the Jordanian Higher Education Ministry's recent provision of facilitations for Yemenis studying in Jordanian universities.
