Yemen's Transports Ministry said African Express Airways is soon to start operating flights to and from Yemen through Sayoon Airport in the country's east.
In a statement, the ministry said it is intending to regulate and promote the transportation services. "Within a short period it has managed to relieve the burden on local citizens by facilitating travels by coordinating regulatory measures with the Arab Coalition and by encouraging investments in air travel in Yemen.
The ministry said it is still exerting efforts to communicate with the Arab Coalition to complete paper works for National Airways Ethiopia to start operating in Yemen as well..
