PM: It is time to stimulate transport businesses

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik urged revitalizing transport's businesses of different sectors land, marine and airways. He said " It is time to develop transport sector, energize its businesses in land, marine and airways. Everything necessary measure must be taken to develop transport's services given that transport is a main source of public and national economy revenues".

His statement came as he presided over a meeting Thursday in the interim capital Aden included senior officials of Transport Ministry and the authorities in charge.

The meeting devoted to discuss the problems and difficulties the transport sector has been facing amid the current war time circumstances.

The discussions touched upon the action plans to develop the businesses at Aden Seaport, Aden Airport and General Authority of Marine Affairs.
