Speaker of the Parliament Sultan Al-Barakani discussed with the Ambassador of of China to Yemen Kang Yong ways of enhancing the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, developments on the Yemeni scene and the prospects for reaching a comprehensive political solution that fulfills the aspirations of the Yemeni people to end the Houthi coup.

They also discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the progress of implementation of the Riyadh Agreement that aims to renormalize life in the temporary capital Aden, revitalize state institutions, and unify all efforts under the comprehensive national project.

Al-Barakani appreciated the positive stances of China in support of Yemen in various fields and levels.
