Health Minister, UNFPA discuss interventions in Yemen

Minister of Public Health and Population Nasser Ba'om discussed Wednesday with the Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) a number of issues associated with the fund's activities and interventions in a number of areas and provinces.
Ba'omurged the officials of the fund to exert more effort for limiting maternity and childhood's mortalities and qualifying health reproductive centers across Yemen and providing its services to remote areas.
He also urged it for coordination with the ministry while implementing activities and providing medicines and health materials for family planning and bonuses to health workers in remote areas.
For his part, the Representative of the fund in Yemen reviewed the fund's interventions and their types and locations.
