Yemen's Ambassador to Islamabad, Mohammad Al-Ashabi, today handed Pakistan's Assistant Undersecretary for Middle East Affairs Mohammad Khan a copy of the Yemeni Foreign Ministry's condemnation of Iran for recognizing the Houthi militia's self-styled government.
Days ago Iran had handed over the premises of the Yemeni diplomatic mission in Tehran to Houthi self-styled ambassador.
Al-Ashabi pointed out that what the Iranian regime had done represents a clear violation of the UN Charter, the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic and Consular Relations, and the UN Security Council resolutions on Yemen, especially resolution 2216.
