Omani delegation inspects health needs in Mahra

The Secretary General of Mahra Local Council Salem Naimer discussed Tuesday with the Omani Health Ministry's Delegation headed by Director of Services in Dhufar Province Khaled al-Mashyakhi health sector's needs here.

Naimar praised efforts of brothers in Oman provided to health sector in the province and cooperation in receiving patients and operating HawfHspital in Shihen, pointing to political condition in Yemen and influx of displaced people to Mahra, a matter affected health services.

He pointed out that interventions made by Saudi Arabia, Oman and international organizations have helped in improving health conditions in the province.

The head of Omani delegation made it clear that the aim of his visit is studying closely health institutions and services, confirming keenness of Oman on providing support and help in health field to the province.

Naimar and the Omani official inspected services in Ghaitha Central Hospital and were briefed on services in working sections and needs and challenges facing the hospital.
