PM orders for bracing measures for cyclone Kyarr

RIYADH -SABA
Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik ordered the competent local authorities in the province of Socotra archipelago, to take all necessary measures to face any repercussions or losses that may result from the tropical cyclone Kyarr expected to hit soon the eastern Yemen coasts.

He stressed the need to raise preparedness and activate the work of emergency and relief committees, and focus on affording the highest level of protections.

The Prime Minister was briefed by the Governor of Socotra Ramzi Mahrous by phone on the emergency plans and preparations.

The Prime Minister affirmed the government's support for all the measures taken and for reinforcing social peace, security, and stability in the archipelago.
