Minister of Local Administration—Chair of High Relief Committee (HRC)—Abduraqeeb Fatah gave instructions to governors, local authorities of the governorates of (Hadramout, Al-Maharah, Socotra, Shabwah, Abyan and Aden) to set-up work teams and emergency rooms in the fear of any consequences and loses may be caused by the tropical cyclone Kyarr

Fatah also called on the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen Lise Grande to. Coordinate with the UN's agencies to make available all necessary relief, medical and shelter aids.
