A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Arab Coalition re-positions its troops under Saudi Command

The Command of Arab Coalition Forces announced re-positioning its troops in Aden governorate to be under the command of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The announcement stated that the troops will be redeployed in accordance with the requirements of the current military operations. That is to keep constant coordination of military and security operations in Yemen and boost relief and humanitarian efforts, in addition to enhance efforts to secure water passages off the Yemeni coasts.

The Command of Arab Coalition Forces praised the efforts made by Arab Coalition's troops, namely the United Arab Emirates' armed forces.
