Yemen participates in the 13st session of Arab Environment Ministers

Yemen partook in the 31st session of the Council of Arab Ministers in charge of Environment held in Cairo.
Acting-Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq Asharjabi contributed to the deliberations, citing the negative impacts of irresponsible practices and actions by Houthi militias over the previous 5 years upon the environment.
Asharjabi called on the Council to help the Yemeni government preserving the ecosystem in the Archipelagos of Socotra to ensure it as a natural protected area enlisted in the UNESCO's list of the world heritage.
