Yemen, Austria discuss cooperation in fighting crimes

Deputy Interior Minister Maj.-Gen. Ali Nasser Lakhsha discussed with his Austrian counterpart the possibility of exchanging information between the two countries in regards to crimes including terrorism.
He expressed Yemeni aspiration to learn from the Austrian experience in building the capabilities of security services to help Yemen in confronting the phenomenon of terrorism and reducing drug smuggling and illegal immigration.
For his part, the Austrian official stressed his country's interest in exchanging information with Yemen in the fields of terrorism and illegal immigration. He pointed out that the Austrian Interior Ministry will invite a high-level Yemeni security delegation to visit Austria to discuss all possible cooperation between the two countries.
