Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Tuesday with the President of International Committee for the Red Cross Peter Maurer activities of the organization in Yemen and its support to sanitation, water, livelihood and health care to thousands of Yemenis across Yemen.
He renewed government's commitment to provide all facilitations and support to the committee for facilitating its projects and activities in all provinces and areas affected by Houthi militia's triggered war.
He also confirmed Yemen's commitment to International Humanitarian Law's principles and government's keenness on implementing exchanging prisoners' agreement agreed upon in Sweden as a very humanitarian issue.
For his part, Maurer confirmed that Yemen gains priority of the committee and there is major concern for doubling activities and programs the committee provides to Yemen, praising facilitations provided by the government of Yemen for enabling the committee of performing its activities as demanded.
He pointed out that the organization will exert more efforts for alleviating humanitarian suffering with all available resources.
