Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed on Tuesday with German Ambassador to Yemen Carola Mueller-Holtkemper the latest developments on the national Yemeni arena, the bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways of enhancing them.
The Vice President informed Mueller-Holtkemper on the ongoing efforts to restore the Yemeni state from the hands of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia and normalize the stable situation in the liberated with a view to building a federal Yemeni state of six regions.
The Vice President noted the strong relations between Yemen and Germany, the various fields of bilateral cooperation, and the keenness of legitimacy to enhance boost that cooperation.
He reiterated the legitimacy's clinging on to the option of a permanent peace based on the three reference points: the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, and the UNSC resolutions mainly resolution 2216 (2015).
