Askar calls on int'l think-tanks to shed light on Houthi war crimes

Minister of Human Rights Mohammed Askar called on the international think-tanks to shed light on the Houthi militia's war crimes in Yemen.
In a meeting with senior members of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy including expert Elana DeLozier and the director of research at the institute Patrick Clawson here on Tuesday, Askar said the radical militia has committed a series of atrocities and war crimes: "Destroying houses, places of worship, schools and other public and private properties; recruiting child soldiers; Using children as shields; violating women rights; forcible disappearance of activists; confiscating humanitarian aid assigned for the needy; Radicalizing children with sectarian Houthi thoughts by changing school textbooks and otherwise."
