MAHRAH-SABA
The Arab Coalition's maritime forces on Saturday rescued 65 people after finding their vessels missing since Wednesday off Yemen's Socotra Island in the Arabian Sea.
Sixty passengers and five crew were heading from Mahrah province to Socotra when the vessel's engine failed somewhere along the road causing it to get adrift.
Informed sources told Saba the Coalition's forces launched a search operation that after 18 hours managed to find the vessel, get assured about its riders and tow it to shore.
When the rescued were brought back to Mahra, in Yemen's east, they were given immediate health care as signs of exhaustion, dehydration and starvation were manifest on them.
