Arab Coalition destroys explosive-laden Houthi boat

RIYADH –SABA
The spokesman of the Arab Coalition said on Thursday that the Coalition's naval forces intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden boat launched by Iran-affiliated Houthis from Hodeidah port in Yemen's west.

Col. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the coalition, said that the naval forces of the coalition spotted on Thursday morning an attempt by the Iran-backed terrorist militia to carry out an imminent hostile and terrorist act in the south of the Red Sea by using an explosive laden and remotely controlled boat

Al-Maliki affirmed the destruction of the boat, which represents a threat to regional and international security as well as to maritime transport routes and global trade.
