Yemen's Minister of Human Rights has called on the international community to take deterring actions against the Houthi crimes the militia commits in the course of its diehard insurgency.
In a meeting with the acting US ambassador Juneid Munir, Mohammed Askar appreciated the US objection to the Iranian agenda in the region including the Iranian support to Houthis.
Askar said the militia has been committing amidst a wide range of crimes the recruitment of child fighters and shelling of neighborhoods with heavy arms.
He said the accountability of the militia for these atrocities won't be time-barred and that the government is already documenting them in a dossier to be filed with the international criminal courts.
