ADEN-SABA
Yemen's Independent Youth a key participant in the historical National Dialogue Conference (of 2013-2014) have affirmed their "absolute support" to President Abd-Rabbu M. Hadi's government.
The support announcement of which Saba received a copy came against the backdrop armed coup against the government in south Yemen with backing from the UAE.
"The coup d'état in (the temporary capital) Aden, Abyan and Shabwah … clearly shows that the UAE has deviated from the mission it joined the Arab Coalition for," read the statement, saying these acts play into the hands of Iran-backed coup in north Yemen.
The UAE-backed separatists, formerly allies to the government against the Houthis, turned against the government and captured the temporary capital on August 11. Ever since it has been trying to expand northeastward.
