Yemen's foreign ministry announced on Thursday it had suspended its operations in the temporary capital Aden following the capture of the city by the separatist Southern Transitional Council.
"The foreign ministry regrettably announces that it is suspending operations in the temporary capital Aden, save the emergency services that serve the interests of the general public," read a statement issued by the ministry.
"The ministry will announce its full return when things get back to normal."
