Hadi, MbS discuss STC overthrowing of government from its southern base
[12/08/2019 09:26]

ADEN-SABA
Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have discussed the ousting of the Yemeni government from the temporary capital Aden by the separatist Southern Transitional Council on Saturday.

In a meeting they held in the Saudi capital Sunday in the presence of Yemens Vice President and Premier, Hadi briefed MbS on the atrocities of the STC as it overrun the state civil and military institutions, affirming that the latest coup plays into the hands of Iran as a regional archenemy.

Hadi appreciated the Saudi persistent support to Yemen in the face of the Iranian threat and raised the topic of completing the historical Arab mission to end the Houthi coup and restore the Yemeni state.

The Crown Prince affirmed his country's support to the Yemeni people and internationally recognized government and his rejection of any threats to the unity and stability of Yemen, be it from the Houthi militia in the north or the STC militia in the south.
