Higher Education discuss private universities

Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized Saturday the forth consultative meeting for rectors of private universities for discussing improving education.

Participated by 45 participants from 25 private universities across Yemen, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hussein Basalama confirmed that the meeting aims at direct communication with private universities for exchanging different expertise, skills and capabilities of private universities.

He pointed out the ministry encourages holding such meetings for searching new mechanism for improving education.

General Director of Private Universities Management in Higher Education Ministry KhaledSha'fal said the meeting comes within others organized by the ministry for inspecting situations of the Yemeni public and private universities and boostingvision and cooperation between the ministry and universities for taking decision and making needed solutions.

The participants recommended approving accepting levels in all sections in accordance with acceptance policies of Academic year 2019-2020.
