Minister of Health Naser Baoom formally opened a consultative meeting for health administers at the headquarters and branch offices of the ministry in Aden today.
The event, with support from the UNICEF, will discuss, for two days, a number of challenges facing the national health information system and proposals to establish a more updated comprehensive system.
In a keynote speech, the minister cited projects on the agenda of his ministry. He hailed President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's keenness to rebuild the health sector in the aftermath of the devastating Houthi war in different parts of the country.
Baoom highlighted the importance of information in drawing policies and plans and in attracting support of international donors.
